huh, now I am even more confused. The text/answer.msg shows me this is determined by the hostname of the system. The hostname is correct
though, but the ADDR field at logon still shows the wrong name though.
I restarted the system and this didn't change.
Is this cached somewhere?

I have a typo in the address shown in the logon screen. Where would be
the file to change that?

Doesn't bother listing bbs name, incorrect spelling or address so someone can connect and help out.

Maybe SCFG->Networks->Internet->System Address?

you might be able to go in there and do passthrough. look up the router model and get the default login and pass. i had to do that with twc aka spectrum when we had an all in one (modem/router/voip). It's better just to purchase and use your own modem if possible.

I have been trying, they locked down the admin console for it and only allow access to settings over their website. And doing passthrough isSuch an interesting conversation. lol I thought I was remembering a conversation that I had with myself. lol
not part of the settings they allow. I am in contact with their IT
though. Maybe they can give me some access.
