  • Webv4 login image

    I have my sbbs.ini set up as follows:

    RootDirectory=../webv4/root

    When I surf to my bbs, the image that is displayed in the ftelnet window is garbled. Where is that image located on my system? I would like to try editing it, or replacing it, so that it displays correctly. I tried viewing the page source, and also looking through the directories under /webv4, but could not find the image. Thanks!

    I think the issue there is CR/LF line endings. I have a diffent image set for ftelnet_splash, and I included CR/LF line endings and it looks as expected.

    webv4 felnet spalsh screen is defined in modopts.ini [web] ftelnet_splash=../text/synch.ans and can be changed if desired.

    Also, the default ../text/sync.ans, I believe, is column width 80 chars, which has been known to add an extra CR/LF so you could try (carefully) clearing the 80th column text (make it width 79) and that should clear it up.

    Thanks, you've told me that before. :) I was looking for a GIF, PNG, or
    JPG. :) Al and Mortis pointed out some issues and how I can change or fix
    it.

    You can change it in ctrl/modopts.ini under the [web] section.

    Default is ../text/synch.ans (relative from ctrl iirc)
