    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Rum Sauce
    Categories: Booze, Sauces
    Yield: 8 Servings

    1 c Sugar
    3/4 c Water
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
    2 tb Cornstarch
    1/4 c Cold Water
    1/2 c Rum

    Combine first three ingredients in a medium saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and hold the boil for 5 minutes over
    medium high heat, stirring constantly.

    Gradually blend together cornstarch and cold water.
    Stir into hot sugar mixture.

    Cook and stir until thickened. Stir in rum then allow
    to cool slightly.

    Serve warm with pie or steamed puddings.
