I apologize for the duplicated posts everyone! Apparently I uploaded a REP packet twice. :O

On the plus side, at least my posts are fun to read! :)

If you did, it not reach this side of the pond. You might contemplate accessing Fidonet echoes from a modern source, that does not rely on 1980s software, but uses your mail reader. See origin line.

On the plus side, at least my posts are fun to read! :)

Not only "fun" but a fresh breath of air in the sewer stench of brainwashed, anti-USA, pro MAGA-fascist idiots in here.

The clients that use the protocol are still being developed. Very modern.

I don't see them. If you uploaded them on a Synchronet BBS, it may have
taken care of them not getting out to the network.

I have a news reader (Gravity) that I sometimes use to access those few
fido sites that offer that type of format. But my favored method of
reading fido is the same BlueWave offline reader that I started with
27 years ago. My mail reader (Eudora) is from the same time period. I
would change either of them for anything more "modern". Also, I have
been using Gravity even longer than that.

But where's the fun in that? :) On a serious note, I built this emulated Amiga specifically for nostalgia. I'm using the same software as back then (Q-Blue, Term and ASTG). I grab QWK and Bluewave packets from the BBSes I frequent, read and reply to them offline, and then upload the rep file. I
kinda figured that the BBS would take care of such things as origin lines.

If this old Swedish fart (74 and counting) accomplished that, rest assured it was very much intentional. :-)
