the wrist.

One excuse you will hear here sometimes is that it was not "Federal"
property but, last I checked, they were trying to break into the "Federal Courthouse" in Portland in 2020, and "Federal Courthouse" means what it
says.

If you point that out, the excuse changes to "they were not successful."
That is true, but only because the Courthouse was baracaded. They did try
and, IIRC, were able to bust out some windows and were also able to set
fires by throwing things inside the perimeter. I don't think they should
get a pass just because their aim with their Molotov cocktails was off.

If the Congressional building in DC had similar security in place, the
January 6 rioters would not have been successful in entering the building, either. Using the logic from above, they should have gotten a pass if
their plan had only come to fruition as an attempt.

I doubt anyone claiming the former (Portland 2020 lefty protesters were not successful) would follow that same logic if Jan 6 had turned out the same
way.

Im not necessarally a conservative, but if you want to put your own personally
wned crucifix in a jar of urine its your own right just like burning your own rsonal american flag, lgbtq flag or united nations flag.

What you do on your personal time is your business, but that is not art,
and displaying it publicly in a publicly-funded museum is objectionable.

The way I saw it when it happened (sometime in the 1990's in Cincinnati,
which is "local" to me), it was something I could do, which pretty much
meant it was not art.

was in, where a bunch of hoodlums in black outfits broke into a post office
and ruined several postal vehicles by running them into each other, into
walls, etc. They videotaped it and posted it to the internet.

I never heard of any reprocussions of either of those events.
