  • winpoint: waiting for optimization to complete..

Even Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the Task Manager was not responding as soon as I hoped it would. But after a few more attempts of C-A-D, I was able to kill the WinPointII.exe process.

    Yikes!! :-((

    But.. what did I just witness with the "Waiting..." ?

    I don't know because I've always had WinPoint's messagebase optimization feature disabled, sorry.

    Defragmentation = Never

    That's what I have too! So, is there a secret key-combo that I may have used that starts the Optimization?
