I can confirm the area is active. There is one BBS in net 153 running PCBoard and probably any number of others too.

I've replied to this from my Mystic bbs. Thought I'd do so from
my PCBoard bbs.

Interesting... Is there some specific page/place on FB that you
are seeing "a lot of activity" regarding PCB? The couple of PCB
pages that I can see on FB are apparently not the right ones.

Yes PCBoard v16 is being worked on by Ozz Nixon. It is being written in Modern Pascal which is 16/32/64bit compatible. This is an open source project. I will be hosting the first alpha/beta test board. Much will be changed, much will be added. At the moment, the project needs a
document writer to assemble the beginings of a manual. No easy task! Anyone versed in PCB with good language skill please reply. I will post the progress of this project in this echo once an alpha version is up
and running. A timeline is yet TBD.

Nice! I'm not a PC Board SysOp (I did run it for a short time
years ago) I liked it! When I went to OS/2 I wanted a OS/2 native
BBS, so I gave up on it. Wondering, will there be a Linux version
in the future? Regards,

But to answer your questions, PCB was always available in an OS/2
version, as far as I remember. I ran the DOS version many years
ago. This new rewrite/clone that is going on will be available
for Linux. There is an active Facebook page for it if you want to
have a look there.
Charles, this message along with a couple of dozen others, is a
month old and was sent out by your BBS for reasons unknown...

If you noticed the intro screen on the pre-alpha:

As Night Rider shared, Modern Pascal is 32bit/64bit compatible for
Linux, Mac OSX, Windows (builds for Windows are on hold right now), RaspPi.
Sorry for the delay on replying - been in the process of moving from Virginia to Florida - still have hundreds of boxes to unpack...
however, I am back-online (communications wise).
Understandable. I've been having a very rough week. I buried my fatherthis
