Bye from 2øC and an overcast sky this morning. Yesterday was sunny.

    Thats true. :-)

Žhm, thanks a lot for a 'sunny' greeting, but I prefer some 'warm' rain.
    ;-)

But it is very interesting, aland is norway territory with swedish language. Also I prefer a tiny bigger location. Our population is aprox 2 Million.

I' shocked. Mariehamn is only 944km away from my location.
Thats closer than my friend in munich.

    Guten Morgen Lieber Freund,

Žhm, thanks a lot for a 'sunny' greeting, but I prefer some 'warm'

I love this climate with the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and
Autumn, although I could manage without the last.

But it is very interesting, aland is norway territory with swedish language.

I don't understand how Norway comes into the picture. In the southeast
we have Estonia, to the east we have Finland and to the west Sweden and
in north the border between Sweden/Finland. Norway is beyond all those.

Also I prefer a tiny bigger location. Our population is aprox 2
    Million.

Well, I was born and grew up in Helsingfors (Helsinki), which indeed has
a greater population, and moved to Mariehamn in 1957. I love this place.

I' shocked. Mariehamn is only 944km away from my location.

I don't know where you got those distances. Hamburg is ca. 900 km from
here and the distance between Hamburg - Mnchen is less than 500 km as
    the birds fly.

    Have a good year,

Hmm.. My Google Maps says that the walking distance between Hamburg and Munich is 692km... :D

Well, I wrote "as the birds fly" ;o)
They usually fly in a straight line.

My map is the Bonniers Stora V„rldsatlas. If I had the geographical
locators of both sites I could come to another result.
