• Gating in nz.general into this echoarea

    I'm pondering adding the nz.general banter into this echoarea to liven things up a bit... not sure... any thoughts pro or con?

    that's a usenet group? if there not so crazy-spam in it like in the german usenet groups i think it's a pro to bring a but more serious content/traffic into this echo.

    Yep is a new zealand usenet group with a few active folks in it, seems mostly political in nature along with banter about topical stuff happening in this country. I'm unsure of the wisdom of bringing it in ut given few are on
    usenet these days and less on the fidonet echo I figure combining any new zealand discussion is better than nothing.

    May try it for a bit and we can see how we go.

    Thinking it through a bit further I'm thinking of not doing this as the
    Usenet traffic is all non-real names and the nz_fidonet echo is set for real names.
