    Hi David,

Well we all encourage you to post here, this is the one echoarea totally devoted to New Zealand Fidonet chat. So it's good to give it a bit of life.

Is there snow on Egmont/Taranaki today?

    Cheers, Paul

It's good to see you posting David. Hopefully having a "local" echo will encourage that more.

Have you been playing with any new (old) toys?

It's nutty down here, one minute 15-16 deg max. the next day a high of 6-7.
The weather can't seem to make up it's mind. No wonder folks get sick.

Yes I'd like to do some more of that also but there's a ton of household
chores to do today, perhaps later on...

    haha excellent.

I have an 8bit atari, a 130XE, which I'm hoping to get up and running. Once I turn my garage into a gaming room, I'll have more room in the house. :)

My Amigas have just been buried under other stuff that has no place to go, so will dig them out again too.

    Hi David.

    Welcome back to BBSing ;)

All is well here. I have recently upgraded the computer running the BBS and also moved to a higher speed fibre connection. Not 100% sure I am running at the max speed possible but over the coming weeks plan to do some more testing.

It's still quiet in NZ BBS but I remain hopeful that over time we can attract
a few more to the scene again.

There is a new BBS that has rejoined the NZ scene - Sounds BBS in Reefton.

    Cheers, Paul
