From Wilfred van Velzen@2:280/464 to Flavio Bessa on Tue May 11 21:53:15 2021
    Hello Flavio,

    Baudrate should be 300: ,19,Fercho_BBS,La_Plata_BA,Fernando_Miculan,-Unpublished-,33600,CM,XA,IMI:fido@fcmsistemas.com.ar,IBN:ferchobbs.ddns.net

Maybe those RIN ,1 nodes are already used in some of your configurations, but they are not really needed from a technical point of view. It's what we call vanity listings:

    Region,80,Rede_Brasil,Rio_de_Janeiro_RJ,Flavio_Bessa,-Unpublished-,300,CM,IBN:fido.rbt.net.br
    ,1,Internet_HUB,Brasil,Flavio_Bessa,-Unpublished-,300,CM,IBN:fido.rbt.net.br

    Region,90,Argentina,Argentina,Manuel_Adorni,-Unpublished-,300,CM,XA,IBN:momiabbs.no-ip.info,IMI:hub@momiabbs.com.ar
    ,1,InterNet_HUB,Argentina,Manuel_Adorni,-Unpublished-,300,CM,XA,IBN:momiabbs.no-ip.info,IMI:hub@momiabbs.com.ar

    Region,92,Panama,Panama_City,John_Dovey,-Unpublished-,300,CM,IBN:elgato.synchronetbbs.org
    ,1,El_Gato_De_Fuego_BBS,Panama_City,John_Dovey,-Unpublished-,300,CM,IBN:elgato.synchronetbbs.org

Same comment applies to the two Hub lines directly after the Host lines. They take up unnecessary space.

This is what I noticed by just looking at the nodelist, maybe the Deputy will notice other things? ;)

I didn't test any of the IBN domain names. If they are connectable, and when you connect if they present the right AKA. Nor did I test the IMI email addresses. That would require sending mime encoded pkt files to them, and hoping the sysop answers. None have the PING flag, what would help if someone wanted to test any of them... ;)

    Regards, NPC.

Thanks, I will get that fixed.

Yes. Unfortunately that's how our ZC chose to manage traffic between regions. In case of 4:80/1, when I took the region from Ioram I created a separated system to serve as a regional host and defined with that
nodenumber; I must change the flags to MO, though.

Thank you very much. I will proceed with fixing what you've pointed out, and please let us know if there are any other mishaps around.

    Regards,
    Flavio.
