What's not funny is the line above it. And you editted out the extra newline that is always present. I've talked about it to Nick years ago. But he's not interested in making it more compliant to the standard. And it's probably difficult to produce a correct UTC time stamp in a DOS program...

And you editted out the extra newline that is always present.

    I didn't, I think HPT does that.

There were two replies in one .PKT. Please note that the first one has @Via line from Ward, the other does not. :D

    O/T-Track can do it. ;)

But you probably have to tell it in detail what timezone it is in, and at what date DST starts and ends. It can't get that from the OS, as can be done in windows and linux (and probably other modern ones).

    \\192.168.1.2\e>grep TZ config.sys
    SET TZ=EET-2EDT,3,-1,0,10800,10,-1,0,10800,3600

OS/2 cannot tell it either. It is not modern enough. :D

It is doable and not all that difficult. I have done it in the DOS era. But one needs to configure the time zone and DST data in some way, there is no way the application can get it from the OS. IIRC there is some sort of informal standard for specyfying the required data in an environment variable but I haven't bothered with these things in a long time. It has been decades since I dropped DOS...
