    The PITA part isn't the fault of Mystic. I have installed Mystic about a dozen times and it's about a 10-15 minute job if one knows what to expect.

    Umm... That should really be a given thing with Linux. During an install I routinely check all executables for the required ownership and permissions.

    My second hurdle has been with proceeding with the install. I am at the screen that reads:

    Press [F2] to begin install or [ESC] to Quit

    That begs the question of what Linux distro you are running? As the only key I
    have ever had to remap was the F1 key. The F2 key has always been available for the Mystic installer to use.

    Except my Keyboard wont translate F2, so it wont do anything. I get the
    error: F2 is an unknown key for this emulation.

    Can someone help me bypass this problem?

    Look at the keyboard mapping that your Linux uses for the F2 key.
