    A while back I sent you a message about about auto-adding areas and having the areas added with a unique hexadecimal, 8 character file name. You told me about your solution with the latest version ... I installed it and concern ...

    My system is auto adding areas "alt.12.." See the double period prior to the suffix of the file name.... I'm slightly Obsessive Compulsive and it drives me nuts. Are there other areas being rounded down to 8 characters that will have the same file name?? Going back to my OCD issue if a random unique hex number was generated this wouldn't happen and I could sleep at night.

    I want to thank you for everything you've done and even considering what I'm talking about....

    Having said this... I have a feature request... I don't know what you think about this.... BUT... is there a way to add a feature where if you are listing files you can tag a file for a user on the system. When they logon the next time they get an email that there is a file for them to download ...

    Thats not intended with the double characters I just didn't test it with newgroups. I'll take another look at it soon and get it cleaned up one way or another.

    A random hex value would be even easier than what I am doing now, but I thought people would appreciate it being named as close as it can to the echotag. I'll either switch to random hex or at least fix it so there aren't dots in there.

    Thank you for considering my request... BTW, I didn't come up with this idea.
    I use to use FastEcho and that's how it Auto-Created the areas. I am currently auto-adding hundreds and hundreds of Usenet areas at a time and a simple hex file name works great.
