• QWKPOLL FTP issue

From Rob Swindell@1:103/705 to All on Wed May 27 00:26:54 2020
A sysop is trying to poll DOVE-Net using the Mystic QWKPOLL (v1.12 A45 Windows/32) and it's doing something weird. Here's the log output from my side (the FTP server):

    5/26 10:17:31p 2212 Hostname: 97-119-187-48.omah.qwest.net [97.119.187.48]

The problem is that "PORT" command up there sent by the client to my server. See, that's *my* IP address, but it's supposed to be *his* IP address (97.119.187.48).

    Hey Rob,

    Thanks for the heads up!

This should now be fixed in the latest build of A46. They will need to turn on passive mode if possible since PORT is broken in the A45 FTP client (as you've noted).

sounds like someone has their active and passive FTP mixed up, eh?
