I'm still getting the warnings from my mobile carrier:

    433-391 11/04/21 5:56 PM
Lucky msg: As of Jan. 4 2022, BlackBerry will be ending support
for select phones. Talk (incl. 9-1-1), text & data will no
longer be reliable. Because your services will remain active
but your BlackBerry phone won't, your monthly payments may
continue. Visit a Lucky Mobile retail partner to stay connected
    with a new device. Info: luckym.ca/blackberry ( luckym.ca/
    msgprefs )

And.. I assume I will be getting another around 11/26/21, and
    ever 11 days after that.

I am skeptical that they can dismiss the use of 9-1-1 since it
is a legal requirement to allow it even on phones with no
    official mobile carrier.

However.. it would be nice if by some magical means, I *did*
receive another phone that I can be confident will work as
    designed.

Ask Santa to bring you a new one.

It's weird. Whenever Santa brings me something I always see it on my credit card bill in January... Very strange... ;)
