There are plenty of these services out there, the one I use most often is grr.la, but it is nice having it built into a mobile os, though you do have to pay extra for this feature as it's only part of iCloud+.
What I like about grr.la is that it's free, there's no sign-up required you just go to that site, copy the email address displayed and you're off to the races.

I don't put in a www usually, just http://grr.la which then just redirects you to https://www.guerrillamail.com

No sure how I would want to utilize this service given that mails are deleted after 24 hours. It means that if I was expecting a reply, I
would have to keep checking frequently until they arrive. I'd be a slave to the service! :/
I use it for things I'm going to sign up for, but never
use again.
e.g.: "Enter your email address for a 10% off coupon" or
those places where you want to leave a comment on
something but they force you to create an account first.
I also used it once for an email list I got on somehow but
the unsubscribe link wouldn't work. There was another
link to update your email address that did work, so I just
changed it to a random grr.la address.
What I like about grr.la is that it's free, there's no
sign-up required you just go to that site, copy the email
address displayed and you're off to the races.
