    I liked Ronnie, but I didn't actually know him, of course. I saw the
    crap Iraq pulled on you in '79, & Carter's lameduck responses to it.

    My favorite deal was when he was being sarcastic on an open mic, and
    said "We begin bombing Russia in 5 minutes". <G>

    Never mind to the head of Russia "Tear Down This Wall!!".

    I can't recall as I was young(12) & not that focused(Autistic), did
    they return the hostages prior to Reagan officially entering the White House?

    As soon as Reagan was inaugurated, they released them.

    Well, Reagan had the backing of the Vatican, too, so felt tougher than just beingh a rep of America.. .

    The wall came down, though & people forget that the people wanted out of Viet Nam
    & it was Nixon who actually did it. (of course he was permitted to)
