    George,

I have bus stops on both sides of me -- all suitable for safe
wheelchair pickups. Theyt were getting older & the next ones in the
other directino were niot wheelcjhair accessible,so I wrote in to the city & to Transit & within a week they'd fixed & upgraded 4 blocks
    worth of stops!

The transportation system around Little Rock leaves a lot to be desired.

Helps that I've built relationships(business, not romantic) in both institutions.

Your wife might frown if it was the latter. <G>

Bet thing(being helpful, & healthy) for glaucoma is cannabis; in Canada you'd not walk even a full block to buy some legally, & smoke it as
soon as you exit the shop/pharmacy.

No...the only thing I want smoking or steaming is the food on my dinner
plate (think sizzling fajitas at Applebee's <G>). With over 40 other medical issues, it'd be my luck that it'd react with one or more of them.

I'd've thought youd be failed on the stress test for being so out of brearth after that lnog waklj to get to it, but I guess it benchmarks based on your heart & lungs' arrival status. Conmgrats on the pass! I try to time my last pee before a lab visit so I'll have at least
30ml(1oz, 2tbsp) available in case they need it.

I wasn't out of breath...I was in too much pain from the arthritis in my
hips and legs. The results were noted as "normal". As for the specimens,
it reminds me of the joke where the old man his seeing his doctor...who's wanting a urine, stool, and semen sample. The old man, apparently hard of hearing, kept asking "What??"...and his wife said "He wants to see your underwear, honey". :P

I had Pfizer, too. Yeah, caffeine isn't a heart's best friend. As I've just finished a double-strength mug in triple speed. Trying to stay
    awake til bedtime. . .

After I finished a ham radio traffic net yesterday afternoon, I had a
square dance publication to finalize and release. Then, I went and got a
dozen chicken nuggets and the "lemonade" to take my medications with,
then I was in bed by 8pm. Some days, where I don't have a ham radio net
to do, I'm in bed at 5pm.

This chihuahua is an unofficioal rescue, from an abusive situation (Exhibit one: he was 2yo & had been in a diaper since the beginning, so had never been outside to play, & go to the bathroom normally, &to
just check the local p- mail.

P for Pee and Poo. <G> I'm glad humans don't go around sniffing others butts...wait a minute...they do that in Washington, DC. :P

He caught on after one lesson (after his meal, taken outside & when he
had to go, he happily went in some grass, & from then on, he let us
know when he needed to go out.)

That's best when they are easy to housebreak. Yet, I thought my musical
keys were housebroken, as I found a piano stool. <G>

He's gone from 5olbs(underweight) to his proper ~8lbs with us on healthyier food, & after having his rotted, in-pain, teeth removed, so eating isn't so difficult; plus treating his allergies & skin
    infections. . .

I keep hearing of this Dynovite food to get a good coat, etc.

When we first got him anytime he saw or heard me, he's growl (theory
is he was abused by a tall male); I accepted this as nothing to do with
me personally & just patiently loved him; within a few months he
started going bananas/happy any time he knew I was entering the room.

The licker license of love. :)

He's a mama's boy, but if I call him, he leaves her immediately.

    LOL!!

I'm only one-handed(functionally), so the usual methods of teaching a
dog basic commands don't exist for me, but he's so eager to please
daddy, that I'm still able to teach him stuff. He sits instantly on command (95% of the time, the other 5% we need to repeat it again, &
    more firmly).

I think of the T-shirt with this Mexican gaucho, and there's a pile of "donkey doo" on his shoe. The burro is grinning, and the gaucho growls
    "I said *SIT*!!". <G>

It still is. My word is my bond, period, even if I accidentally said
it or agreed to something, I consiuder myself obliged until I've
    succeeded in it.

    Good for you.

I like that one! I'm still too young to try using it, though. . . *LOL*

Tomorrow is promised to no one. I think of the cartoon where the guy
wakes up in the morgue, and wonders "If I'm alive, what am I doing here??
And, if I'm dead, how come I have to go to the bathroom??". :P

I normally wouldn't be up this early, but I had an IBS attack. I wish
it would've awakened me early tomorrow morning, as that's when I have
to be up early anyway to go to the eye doctor. I'll go back to bed after
    I finish the QWK Mail.

It doesn't have to be; our dsuburbs were notoriously underserved by transit until we started making noise to the right people, & now we have a pretty great systemn all throughout the region. . . including rapid transit "skytrains" into the city core, with stations every couple miles.

Exactly why it's not just relationships in general. . . :D

Actually smokng it is bad for the lungs -- better to use a Vaporiser to just get the benefirts of the medicinal cannabinoids -- the trick is to get a strain with low THC(the "get high" component) & high in the CBDs you need.

    Yup. . .

I usually nap in the LaZ Boy while watching tv in the evening, to ensure a decent sleep that night.

I think that's kissing more than sniffing. . . & eww either way.

Yup, he seems to have a licker license, for sure! Like most small breeds, he's very lick-y!

Q: What's the difference between an ass & a hole in the ground?
A: rthe 'W' (burro vs burrow)

Tomorrow is promised to no one.

Tomorrow is mystery; yesterday is history; today is a gift, that's why it's called the PRESENT!

It's all good; I used to do the same - hit my QWK (& SOUP) packets on a late night wake-up, to tire myself again to get more sleep for the rest of the night.

Now Iu'm not set up for QWK & SOUP yet. Got a newsgroup reader to read/reply directly, but I liked my old DOS reader best -- did both SOUP & QWK (not the Blue one, though, so I didn't bother with those)

I need to set up my old DOS 6.22 IBM 486 (with 21" colour CRT)

I had good times on it. . . Still got 10s of thousands of jokes & puns stored on there, easily searchable. Buty can only move them off using a 3.5" FDD, so I need to buy a USB FDD so I can copy & transfer to my main computer (standard & basic Win10 )
