Anyone remember using PC Pursuit to call long distance BBSs without
    paying the long distance fees?

I remember hearing about it but was never able to use it.

Someone on reddit set up a system that allows people to call local numbers
to reach BBSes in other places. It sound to me a lot like how PC Pursuit
    used to work.

I never used it, but the name rings a bell.
