    Heheh! Many young people don't even understand the simple concept of analog time (ie, clock with hands). I get blank looks when young kids ask me for the time (even though there is a wall clock behind me at the counter) and I say something like, "It's a quarter after 3". :(

    That's for sure.
    I wear a wrist watch and have been asked by kids why I don't just use
    the phone's clock.
    I tell them with a slight movement of my arm I can see what time it is without digging out the phone, waking it up, etc. That way reminds of pocket watches years ago that had a cover one had to open to see the time.
    Quick parking story and GPS.
    I had given this young techie (he was on campus to do something with computers) who complained about the ticket, saying so-and-so told him to park there*, in a no parking zone.
    I told him I couldn't take back the ticket but he could file an appeal
    at the office and gave directions. (Go to the red light, turn left, so two blocks and its on the right at that corner).
    He asked for the street address and I gave it to him. He pulled out his phone and said he needed to put that into his GPS. I said you don't need
    GPS, make a left, go two blocks. He didn't like that, he was from out of town he didn't know his way around,
    I just sighed.
    The last I heard he never filed an appeal. GPS probably sent him who
    knows where. :)
    *When people would tell me that I would tell them to have so-and-so pay
    the ticket. :)
