• Re: Extension of minispellchecker in fts5.c

    Kees,

I would like to propose that this spellchecker section is extended to correct a missing dash at the start and at the end of Unpublished as well. This to correct human error, that can have significant impact on the nodelist.

The purpose of makenl is to produce a nodelist from segments presented "as is".

The developers of makenl should stay out of the nodelist.

    Take care,

    Kees,

The developers of makenl should stay out of the nodelist.

At your level that may be true.

It is true at all levels.

I will never implement such a version and even contemplate going back to the "old makenl" which does not have these "features".

    Take care,

Do you mean 1:116/0 ? There is no 1:240/0. There is a 2:240/0, but there is no error in that segment.

    Bye, Wilfred.

    Wilfred,

There is no error (";E") in the nodelist for net 340, there is in net 116 ...

"There is" in the segment that has been presented for this week as seen in the DAILYLST.

Janis has been notified and will take care that it is gone by Friday.

The 116-problem has been taken care of this week.

    Hello Kees!

Tell 1:240/0 how it is done, his net segment update is in error
    for a second week.

I expect it will be fixed... I've spoken with him, but I think you mean 1:340/0, not 240/0.

    Take care,

    Hi Roy,

Tell 1:240/0 how it is done, his net segment update is in error
    for a second week.

I expect it will be fixed... I've spoken with him, but I think you
    mean 1:340/0, not 240/0.

    There's a 1:340 net? N-list.031 doesn't show it...the only node with a
bad "-Unpublished" that I see is 1:123/789...

This node has the error that cause his net to be appened to the previous net:

    ;E HOST,340,Oregon_Net,Cougar_WA_USA,Robert_E_Starr_JR,Unpublished,300,CM,INA:t ime.synchro.net[...]

What you mention above I believe is a true Pvt node, with Pvt,Unpublished... different animal so to speak.

    Take care,
    Janis

do you mean host 1:340?? robert starr?

yes, his entry is missing the leading and trailing dashes around "Unpublished"...

an error like that does tend to mash nets together... in this case, net 340 ends up mashed together with 1:153... this mashing is also the cause of the duplicate node 9999 at the end of 1:340's segment section since there's a node 9999 in 1:153...

1:116/28 is missing the trailing dash on "-Unpublished"...

so far as i can tell, those are the only three errors marked in the nodelist at
    this time...
