    Hello everyone, Im very new to linux and I loaded rehat linux 6.4 on my older hp dl580 g2 server and it works fine but I want to upgrade to the latest 7.5 I don't know if my system is to old to install it thats why I'm asking when i
    try to load it the screen freezes and thats it any help in this matter would
    be appreciated it.

    I think you will find that RHEL 7 only supports 64 bit. Is that server a 64 bit machine?

    Im not sure to be honest I figured because it has 4 cpu's that it would be
    but Im just not sure. I see if I can find out!

    DL580 G2 should be a Xeon MP socket 603. Definitely 32-bit. If you really want systemd there is a 32-bit CentOS 7 release:

    http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/isos/i386/

    I'm sticking with CentOS 6.9 for now, with third-party repos.
