    From Maurice Kinal@1:153/7001 to Not All on Mon Feb 10 22:37:48 2020
    Hey Not All!

    Third and final machine now officially upgraded. Here is the critical information as per a ***REAL*** linux-gnu host machine;

    -={ '<Esc>:read !cat /proc/version' starts }=-
    Linux version 5.5.2 (root@lilmikey) (gcc version 9.2.0 (GCC)) #1 SMP Mon Feb 10
    13:23:00 UTC 2020
    -={ '<Esc>:read !cat /proc/version' ends }=-

    -={ '<Esc>:read !/lib/libc.so.6' starts }=-
    GNU C Library (GNU libc) stable release version 2.31.

    -={ '<Esc>:read !gcc -v' starts }=-
    Using built-in specs.
    COLLECT_GCC=gcc COLLECT_LTO_WRAPPER=/usr/libexec/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/9.2.0/lto-wrapper Target: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
    Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr --disable-multilib --with-system-zlib --enable-languages=c,c++ --disable-bootstrap --build=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
    Thread model: posix
    gcc version 9.2.0 (GCC)
    -={ '<Esc>:read !gcc -v' ends }=-

    It would be nice to see the same output for a supposedly clang based system but
    I have serious doubts that one exists, or at least not by anyone who can post that information in this echoarea. What this echoarea needs is someone who knows how to provide evidence for questionable claims such as what appears to be a purely fantasy clang based linux distribution.

    Any takers? :::evil grin:::

    Life is good,
    Maurice

    ... Don't cry for me I have vi.
