    Well, we know damn well, that if we should ever get any IPv6 programs for fidonet, we'd better get used to ask our Russian friends for it. The Other Guys have left the arena long time ago...

    A couple of month ago I raised the issue in the FTSC echo, hoping that someone in R50 would take the bait and write an IPv6 version of binkp.

    But no biting. To my surprise, I even got some "NAY sayer" responses from a few esteemed FTSC members. Even among the FTSC members not everyone is convinced yet that we have no choice. :-(

    I may add that it is a pity Michiel Broek has left the FTSC and has given the source of MBSE to someone else. If he was still active, he sure was a good candidate for the first author of FidoNet software to implement IPv6.
