    Hello, All.

I am currently on mobile in Greece. My finnish ISP Elisa announces that I can use data connections as in Finland.

Bollocks, I only have natted 100.x.x.x address without ipv6.

    ;)

What your ISP tried to tell you is that there will be no extra roaming charges for the data you use as long as you stay inside the EU ...

And with this I was referring to a discussion here previously about roaming and ip's.

Well it seems that there is a different APN setting for roaming in my phone. Corrected and now I have ipv6. :)

Great! So what do you actually get? A /128? a /64? Is it inbound and outbound or just outbound? Does it ping?

    Both.

    Yepp

It is not really DS-Lite but the effect is the same.
You get a CGNAT IPv4 and public IPv6.

Here in Finland in Elisa and DNA networks you get /64 in and out. However, I have one Elisa-branded Huawei router, which is not possible to open any ipv6 ports in. But with phone as a router there is not that limitation.

    Maybe indeed...

Nothing has been said about the intended speed of roll out, but they did say that it will be subscriptions first. Prepaid later. So all I can say right now is: stay tuned...
