It does not work from my point 1. This may have to do with the fact
that PE are enabled on my laptop running Win 7 pro?
O wait. When I tried it on my main system, I saw that the reply did
not come from *::f1d0:2:221:6 but from a PE address. So there is no channel opened in my firewall voor that.

My brand new callbacksystem reads the ip address where the call is
coming and tries to call back. Your .1 call was coming from ipv6
address which couldn't backresolv for dns name. That caused the
callback to fail:

Maybe Binkd needs []'s around the IPv6 address. Let's see.

That's because Win2003 always sets (and defaults outgoing) slaac
address even if I have set manually 2001:470:1f15:cb0:f1d0:2:221:6.
You will see lots of IPv6 addresses that won't backresolve in
future...

Oh? No way to tell it to use the manually set address?
Just to remind you:
Send a file called "test" to 2:221/6 by binkp. The callback service
will try to call you back.
Hello Tommi,
On Sunday April 09 2017 10:15, you wrote to All:

You should have a system reacheable on IPv6 for that...
But because 221/6 is IPv4 only,

OOps, my mistake. I got my laptop connected via the wrong WiFi asscess point. That one is IPv4 only. I now had it linked via my IPv6 capable WiFi AP.
I had 280/5555.1 send file test via IPv6.
No response yet...
I will now try from mt main system:

See my previous message. Your .1 is not nodelisted. :)
TK> "Calling ipv6.dynamic.ziggo.nl". :)
So maybe using the back resolved hostname is not such a good idea after all...
I remomebr us having a discussion about Privacy Extension numbers. You called the IP number on which the call was received. That did not alway
work with Privay Extensions enabled. My system(s) are now configured to anwser on PE addresse as well.
I removed the "backresolv" from the binkd conf, and commented it so
that I wont accidentally turn it back on.
You may test again if you wish.
Anyways IMHO reverse dns is not set right at ziggo. :)
