    Hello Michiel!

Yes, strongly recommended, if you run IPv6. I'm running an older trunk version of Barrier Breaker for a while without any problems. Currently I'm upgrading my spare router to 14.07 for testing the release version.

    Regards,
    Markus

Wonderful news. So now, all I have to to is search for the articles you wrote about the OpenWrt issue in the Fidonews. No problem, I have two LinkSys APs, so even if I brick one of them, I still have one to go... 8-)

The TP-Link WDR-4300 runs fine with OpenWrt, even the current v1.7 hardware.

If that is the Linksys WRY54Gx, I don't know if it is powerfull enough. My Linksys runs a trimmed version of ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT (Bleeding Edge) (no web interfae, just ssh) . This new version may need more memory than What that old Linksys has on board...

It so happens I have an unsued TP-Link WRT741ND. Problem is that it is flashed with the Samknows firmware and I have to find a way to flash it with nwe firmware. As it is, it is just a black box...

The unused one I had in mind is a WAP54G.

I'll keep that in mind, thank you.

    Hello!

Some remarks about upgrading to 14.07:
    - I had to install luci-proto-ipv6 manually to be able to configure IPv6 wan stuff via the web UI.
    - 6relayd is replaced by odhcpd. That caused me some trouble with RAs at the LAN interface (no RAs sent). After fiddling with the settings I managed to get it running. It seems that you have to enable DHCP on the interface which was not required when using 6relayd. If you like to have just DHCPv6 you can set "option dhcpv4 'disabled'" manually to disable DHCP for IPv4. You'll find more about odhcpd at http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/techref/odhcpd.

    Regards,
    Markus
