    Vince,

A new node popped-up in R25 but erroneously was listed out of region in R20.

How much of a job would it be to list Martin Mitchell asap in the R25-segment? It would be merely copying his line from the N203-segment into the N250-segment.

Thank you for loooking into this,

    \%/@rd

Really? Erroneously listed? Is this how we encourage new nodes to join our network?

    Hello Bjorn,

So you decided to go the political way and move a matter being dealt with in netmail, to the IC-echo.

OK. So I'll put my IC-hat on per your wishes even though the IC is a toothless tiger.

A new node popped-up in R25 but erroneously was listed out of region BF>WD> in R20.

For starters, I understand that when one sends a netmail the recipient technically can do with it as he/she pleases, which you are doing here.

However, as an RC you know the long standing request to "not crosspost" ZC<->RC traffic the confidentiality of it being required to do business. The confidentiality is a matter of trust, and if we can't trust eachother with eachother's words ... then what ...

Having publicly crossposted my words and thereby disregarding the confidentiality, I think it is safe to assume you have now released me from my own confidentiality clause towards you.

I have asked you very politely what that Scottish node was doing in R20 and wondering what the "raison d'etre" would be for having it listed there.

You felt the need to answer with:

"Do you think that RC25 would have helped this guy within a reasonable time?"

    Followed by:

    "So sue me"

Upon which I contacted RC25, presented him with the question, and had the concerned sysop listed in the UK-region within 4 hours. Setup, ready to go, file-distribution and all if so desired.

You cannot suck-up to P4 and its requirement for regional listings, and then disregard it because you feel like it.

This is how the situation stands at the moment ...

    * Martin will be listed in the Z2DAILY in R25 from as soon as the R25-segment
is received. This could be real quick. I will make certain it is real quick
    * Martin will be listed in the world-nodelist showing R25 on Friday
    * You can still play and twiddle with him as much as you like, but it will be
    with his R25-nodenumber

Don't like it? You know what, write to the ZCC and ask them to overrule me.

Political borders are no longer applicable on our network.

I would like to say something, but George Kennedy does it so much better. So please enjoy this YouTube fragment from the movie 'Thunderbolt and Lightfoot' ...

Sorry about that. I have no idea how the comment ended up here. After all IC and CC is not even close on the keyboard.

You *do* know that I also have a node in Frankfurt in my segment, no?

This is how the situation stands at the moment ...

And all of this, for what reason?

You really expect me to believe that? A typing error? Make that the cat
wise... You're a way too aged grey fox ...

You *do* know that I also have a node in Frankfurt in my segment, no?

Big deal ... You know of the geographical restriction ... The ZCs have a common agreement not to list out-of-zone and in the past Janis re-routed a lot of nodenumber requests from European prospective participants to me after which they were scattered to the proper region for follow-up/listing.

The same is the case within the zones, one does not list out-of-region. There are a few who are that I am aware of after proper discussion and reasoning to reach an agreement. The RCs know that and act like it ... all except one ... yourself ... because you consider yourself above any interpretation.

My ass, you are only united when it suits you, if it doesn't then "because I can" overshadows the "united" thing.
