    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Barbecue Spice Roasted Chickpeas
    Categories: Beans, Herbs, Chilies, Snacks
    Yield: 12 Servings

    30 oz (2 cans) garbanzo beans;
    - rinsed, drained
    1/4 c Olive oil
    1 ts Barbecue spice
    1 ts Paprika
    1 ts Chili powder
    1/4 ts Garlic salt
    1/4 ts Celery salt
    1/4 ts Onion powder

    Set oven @ 450ºF/232ºC.

    In a medium bowl combine garbanzo beans, oil, barbecue
    spice, paprika, chili powder, garlic salt, celery salt,
    and onion powder. Spread in an even layer in a 15" x 10"
    x 1" baking pan. Roast about 30 minutes or until browned
    and crisp, stirring once halfway through roasting. Cool
    completely.

    TO MAKE AHEAD: Place cooled chickpeas in an airtight
    container; cover. Store at room temperature for up to 1
    week.

    Makes: 12 servings/3 cups
