I'm going to assume this is a "failed test" since I saw it about 3
times in a row on the BBS promotion echos and a couple times here so
far (and there are still messages to go). So Yes, it works, and NO, something is screwed up because you're seriously spamming. (And God
knows the BBS promotions echos are horridly spammed as it is, with the same 5-6 BBS's spamming over and over and over and over (and over and
over and over and over and over)).

Fidonet is 90% spam as it is.... your point?

it's okay... I thought I was sitting on my ass and then I look on
fidonet and there is was typing messages to people, myself included.

I gues testing 1 2 3 is not spam... but when I practice a commandline
    to add a message is.

    go figure...

Shit happens... it's not like he's on a POTS line at $0.30/minute

Well, if he is testing his setup and didn't intend to send the message multiple times, then something is wrong and he needs to know. If he
did intend to send it multiple times, then everything is good.

If that was the case, then just tell him you've received the post more than once and if that was his intention, then he succeeded.
There was no need to ramble on about spam as you did. If you want to get technical, you not trimming your reply of salutations or other "material" associated with the original post and my post could be considered spam as well, just as you did in your reply to me. Sometimes there is nothing wrong hitting the <N>ext key... as I plan on doing if you decide to answer.

    Enjoy...
