All candidates received more Yes votes than No votes, and therefore will be accepted as standing members of the FTSC unless something drastic happens during the next week which allows an opportunity to contest the votes.

Challenges of the results must be submitted by 20:00 UTC on 28 March 2021. If no challenges are received, the new members will be installed on Monday, 29 March 2021.

As usual: blind all-yes votes with only 3 exceptions.

All candidates received more Yes votes than No votes, and therefore
will be accepted as standing members of the FTSC

This is abnormal and should be changed.

it is not abnormal... it is the method that has been in place for a very long time... since Odinn Sorensen (of GoldEd fame) was the FTSC Admin, IIRC... this method is similar to Australian voting methods as it is more fair to
    the candidtates...

2 RCs chose to abstain on all candidates, 1 RC abstained from voting for himself, and 1 RC chose to vote No on one candidate.

I intend to address the election procedure after this election cycle is completed.

    please.

i have no problem with that... i was only correcting his misstatement that the method was "abnormal" when it has clearly been in use for a long while and is also used by at least one entire country...

and is also used by at least one entire country...

I don't think that copying certain countries is a good idea.

I know of a country where they use aberrations like Gerrymandering and Electoral College to rig elections in favour of the same Grand Old Party.

So, let's stick to our own aberrations...

The political processes of any country are not a matter that needs to be discussed between the FTSC and the FidoNet community.

Please take such discussions to netmail or another appropriate echo.

That's what I suggested in my summary in the last line, that you did not quote.
