    Hey, I only retain the last 10 days of the Daily nodelist as well as the weekly

    nodelist so I didn't respond. My automatic Allifx search interface is broke (no

    access to filebase). I manually watch posts here and answer as appropriate. :)

    i don't remember if i replied to this or not... my system doesn't show a linked
    reply so anyway... i think the below is where i was getting some of my old nodelists from... it doesn't seem to be responding, though...

    The Fidonet :: Nodelist Search Form FIDO-HISTORY PROJECT (NLARCHIVE2)
    http://ambrosia60.dd-dns.de/fidonet/nlarchive2.php

    The Fidonet's :: NodeList/Pointlist(s)/Fidonews Archive
    http://ambrosia60.dd-dns.de/fidonet/nodelist.php

    IIRC, this was Ulrich Schroeter's site... looking in the nodelist, it looks like his 1 and 2 TLDs have changed from the above dd-dns.de to dtdns.net so the
    following should work...

    http://ambrosia60.dtdns.net/fidonet/fido-history-project.htm

    use the tabs at the top of the page to find the nodelists...

    i would not suggest that anyone start bulk grabbing them... i've seen too many sites shut down because of that... one recent one that comes to mind, not related to fidonet, is a landclass database used to generate shape files for creating scenery meshes for a simulator... someone went in and was scraping all
    the shape files via a script and burned up all the bandwidth so the guy shut it
    down and removed the download capabilities so no one can get the shape files any more... they're not needed if one can query the database directly but that's rather frought with peril these days...

    That sounds suspiciously like what transpired with FlightGear and those "FGMEMBERS" assholes... (I host all their CI infrustructure with the exception of the scenery...)

    que? "CI"??

    CI = "Continuous Integration". Any time someone commits a source code change, the CI server (in this case a software package called "Jenkins") kicks off a build for all the platforms. You can go here: http://grumble.deltasoft.com:8080/ and see the current status of all the various components that make up FlightGear. It will show you the date of the last successful compile, the date of the last time the compile failed, and the amount of time the most current state (success or failure) took to reach.
