    Hi All,
    ...Greets from my Telegram app!

Telegram founder Pavel Durov?s phone might have been SPIED ON with the help of the Pegasus Project - the Guardian claims he was on the LIST of individuals selected by NSO Group?s client governments. The source denies though that Durov WAS actually targeted.

The Guardian says UAE authorities could have been showing interest in the billionaire who moved to the country.

    Ciao!

Do you seriously think that he has only one phone number and it became famous? Even I have a number that no one knows. And, by the way, it is not difficult at all to acquire a number that is in no way connected with the owner's name. ;)

    Have nice nights.

Yes. We just need to come up with a reliable way to transfer the SIM card. If, of course, you are satisfied with the number +7(xxx)-xxx-xx-xx. ;)

    Have nice nights.

I don't know how usable that would be over here, it might even attract unnecessary attention. ;-)

Good point. Someone who takes the initiative to develop an
alternative comms package would certainly be conscious of being
    tracked and spied on.

Even I have a number that no one knows. And, by the way,
it is not difficult at all to acquire a number that is in

Yes.. a lot of that is probably going on too. I see several
cellphone companies offering "international" SIM cards. So, it
wouldn't have to be restricted to the +7 country code that you
    mentioned.

I could probably pose as Joe Smo in the UK, sign up for a phone
plan there, and have the card mailed to me in Canada.

If payment can be arranged via Bitcoin, then that would add
another layer of obfuscation. But even a bitcoin payment would
have a paper-trail to the source of funds.

And... there will be a paper trail left by using the postal
    system.

And... then, when using the card over the cell system, the user
    can be located anyway.

This can be expensive in the first place.
