• Best way to handle incorrect netmails

From Paul Hayton@3:770/100 to All on Mon Sep 26 12:59:50 2022
    hi there

For Zone 21 I often see netmails coming in that are addressed to non existent netmail addresses (NETs that don't exist or zones or ...)

How best to configure HPT to handle these issues?

What I would like to do is route them to a netmail area that I can read and reply to senders.

    Howdy,

For Zone 21 I often see netmails coming in that are addressed to non existent netmail addresses (NETs that don't exist or zones or ...)

How best to configure HPT to handle these issues?

I use husky's perl hook to do this.

Send a message to 21:3/555 and you should get a reply with the reason. At the same time, it posts the message in an echo that I use locally, so I know if somebody posted a message I can reach out as well.
