    4. Number of aircraft destroyed
    5. Number of tanks destroyed
    6. Number of other military vechiles destroyed

    Thanks,

A very scarce information available. But do the countries at war provide
such local true information at all? Take for Vietnam war -- did the
American media publish everyday information about tens of thousands killed?

As for private sites -- they can publish any numbers they like. However
I don't understand any sense to read such sites. It is clear without
them that big losses of lives are inevitable from both sides.

    Bye, Terry!

US media provided very detailed and pretty acurate data.
There were everyday briefings from U.S. Public Affairs Office with details and numbers.

nd they were a lot of anti-war potests in USA. But now in Russia it's illegal for individual to even stay near the church with slogan from Bible: "Thou shalt not kill".

    Best regards,
    dp.

    Hi Alexander,

Australian soldiers were in Iraq and Afganistan and Australian military deaths
and personnel wounded were regularily reported in the Australian news. As far as I know the numbers of military equipment lost was insignicant so it didn't make the news unless deaths or wounded were involved.

Maybe other nationalaties can comment on their countries experience in Iraq
and Afganistan but I believe they did the same.

Normally, there are regular press briefings where this data is released.

I am only talking about Military data not civilian.

Very sad but true about the loss of lives on both sides.

If you use the Vietnam war as an example it was the number of military killed on the US and Australian sides that let to demonstrations and eventuallly the end of the war.

Wasn't it true for Russia when they invaded Afganistan after so many military losses they pullled out.

Hiding the military losses will only work for a awhile, eventually the truth will come out.

    Terry
