    Hi Janis,

Yes, incredibly interesting to me as well... where I grew up in NY, there was this convent with a stone wall that was across the street from where I lived. As kids we used to go into the convent's property to play in their "backyard" which the nuns never minded. To do that we had to climb over that stone wall (it was just maybe 4ft. high..) Anyway, the stones in that wall had Crustaceans in all the rocks in that wall.. and in my backyard, I found a huge rock with a dinosaur footprint in it <g> I was hooked <grin> I remember dragging my Uncle Ralph to see that footprint rock because he worked for Nasa and I figured he would at least LOOK at it haha.. how silly :) He did, and you know after that one of his kids grew up to be a noted archeologist.

That sounds neat. I bet you had a lot of fun sneaking into the convent's property. Glad the nuns never minded. Infact, they might have been delighted to see kids having fun playing. And the artifact you had discovered in the wall sounds remarkable. Yeah, that must have been a huge rock? How big do you think that rock was? I would guess maybe 4-5 feet long? Your Uncle Ralph doesn't sound like he was into looking at rocks, but having one of is kids grow up as a archeologist is fantastic.
