Errors in INA: Statements in the ZONE 1 Segment
By Janis Kracht, 1:1/0,

A number of RCs have allowed errors to slip into the ZONE 1
Segment of the nodelist regarding Internet usage flags. I
understand this, given how our eyes can slip over what our brain
"expects" to see when we examine lines such as those in the
nodelist.
I'm asking _all_ RCs however to please correct errors in each of
their segments this week and get me a new segment as soon as
possible.
Obviously it is better if you contact your NCs and have them get
the corrected version from nodes with errors, but if you cannot
contact those people with errors because of their vacations,
etc. this time of year, I'm asking that you make the change
necessary.
The INA: flag should be the last flag in each node's line in the
nodelist, so when you have a line that looks like this:
[...]SYSTEM_ABC,SOMEWHERE,SYSOP,-Unpublished-,300,CM,XX,ITN,INA
:<somedomain>,IBN
it is using the INA flag wrong.
I am talking about internet capabilty flags like ITN, IFC, or
IFT, IBN flags etc.. -preceeding- the INA: flag. They should
NOT preceed INA:, they should come after the INA:.
The above example should look like:
[...]SYSTEM_ABC,SOMEWHERE,SYSOP,-Unpublished-,300,CM,XX,INA
:<somedomain>,ITN,IBN
Here is an example of correct usage from my 1:261/100 node
listing:
,100,<<PRISM_BBS,Slaterville_Springs_NY,Janis_Kracht,
-Unpublished-,300,CM,INA:filegate.net,IBN:24555,IFT,ITN
This line above shows an alternate port (not the standard port)
for IBN, along with other protocols which do use the standard
port for protocols like ITN, etc.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
**Please correct this for all nodes in Z1 and get me a segment
as soon as possible.**
