Oh yeah, really true.. One is off to college now, the other two thankfully still have a number of years before that happens. My daughter though is planning on a big move next year, and -that- will be a drag :(

She and her boys are relocating to Pittsburgh next year so actually we're enjoying them living close now before that happens :(

    :(

I understand completely. I've been talking with a multinational company about a possible job in Austin, Texas, and I am worried about being so far away from my parents. They have told me to take if it's offered to me but both of my parents are disabled and I worry about them if I move.

Yes, that could be rough. The good news is if the pay is right maybe you can fly back easier to visit with them now and again.

Yeah, that would be a good thing. I could catch a flight from Austin->DFW->Tri-Cities Airport (TRI) easily. The cool thing: if you turn left out of the airport here and follow the two-lane highway to its southern terminus, you're right across the street from my home. :D

No, this is only one stop along the way for them... Her boyfriend will be working and finishing his schooling, then he may end up working even further away. He's an OR Nurse. My daughter is like Ron, she works remotely via computer so she will probably want to move to wherever her boyfriend lives. Understandable :)

Hopefully they'll be able to come visit you regularly,

It's going to get crazy here anyway. Ron's 94 year old Aunt Gert will be moving in with us sometime in the next two weeks. Lots of change necessary here.
