Well, I'm using Chantix this time.. so I'm hoping it works :)

Btw, if anyone reads reports of a madwoman in Central NY blowing up a town... Lol...

My hubby quit some 40 years ago and still does not smoke, my kids never started... I quit the same day as my hubby - I lasted two weeks that time - so I knew I needed something to kick this crap... :(

    darnit.. :)

The way I'm doing it takes a little time...I'm taking Chantix, the same drug Ross used to quit. Just takes time but I'm already smoking like 4 cigs a day instead of 22-25.

    I'll get there.

I quit close to 30 years ago but I had a plan. Took a week off from work and before the 'quit day', I throughly cleaned the house of anythnig smoke related. I then quit cold turkey. Days 3-5 were hell. Stayed in my bedroom, didn't shower (I know, gross) and lived like a hermit. Day 6 it was over. I had cravings for about 4 months after that but then it started getting to the point smoke was getting me sick. Now It doesn't bother me unless some asshole blows it in my face where I return the favor with my knuckles. Hey, all's fair in love and war.... :)

Good luck with it but try and just throw them away. Another good plan is when you feel like having one, say to yourself I'll wait another 5 minutes. You'd be surprised how that 5 minutes turns into 30.

I have a McDonalds across the street. May be I should have a cheeseburger RL>instead :)

I no longer eat there. While their fries are delicious, their service
sucks. At several central Arkansas locations, more than once, it took
over a half hour to get the order...the employees and managers were
talking on their cellphones instead of waiting on customers...they had
those troublesome kiosks...and there was no indication on weekends that
lunch wasn't served until 11am, even though the menus switched at
    10:30am.

I ran into a McDonald's manager at a local bank, and I told her what I thought of it. Even feedback and a call to the franchisee generated no response, apology or otherwise.
