    Hello,

I am trying to get back into the groove with my WINS system and I am
porting parts of it to a new server. The problem nagging me today has to do with the ANSI menus. On the old system when a user presses a navigation key (e.g. "G" for Good Bye) the input is instantly accepted without having to
press enter. On the new system every input requires enter before it is executed. I have been wracking my brain trying to remember how I
accomplished this originally. Any ideas? :-)

    Thanks,
    Chris Dunbar

You may well be thinking about 'hot keys' which can be set via the 'User Settings' or 'Your Settings' options.

Ahh, that sounds vaguely familiar. I was thinking this was a global
setting, but it may well have been done per user. Is there a way to preset
this to "on" for all users?

    Thanks for your help!

    Regards,
    Chris

You can set it on in your "DEFAULT" user profile. This will turn it on
for any newusers, the users that you already have will have to change it manually or you (sysop) do it.
