Is there any way to set telnet QWK limits to download more than 200 messagesper conference and
1000 per qwk file? I can understand limiting slow baud rates but telnet? Please help
wcConfig|Offline Mail, on the limits tab you can specify max# of msgs
per packet and max# of msgs per conference so you would ADD a baud rate
of Telnet and enter the counts you desire and click OK, you might have
to restart WC for it to take.
This makes it easy for new users to download a s-load of messages
without having to do it many times if you have a lot of messages in your message base.
Shouldn't this be in the Winserver conference?

Thank you I set the Baud rate as TELNET and it worked perfectly. I hear that there is an add-on to download QWK via HTML trying to find it. Not sure if this is a win 7 feature.
--- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.1This makes it easy for new users to download a s-load of messages

Or in the case of my system having a newsgroup that is insanely busy
that needs a boost up. I have it set for 5000 per packet 500 per
conference and it's working nicely.
Shouldn't this be in the Winserver conference?
Sorry I kind of missed the mark on this one. I am legally blind pending
eye surgery this week... hoepfully it will do it.
Thanks Lee

Yes there is a QWK via HTML wcx and I believe I have it on my system in the WC5/Winserv

There is another file needed IIRC for it to work, wmputils.wcx it is
