What package is used to run DoorParty, Door Server by Rick Parrish?

It runs under Mystic, Synchronet, pretty much any BBS that can run doors... Regards,

I think he's asking what does the server itself run on. Synchronet would be the answer. Anyone with a IP Terminal can access and play the games on Doorparty.
I got it working on Waffle BBS the other day.

    Hi

Do you have the files available on your Bbs?

The files to connect to DoorParty, or the files that run DoorParty?

If you want to apply, hit up wiki.doorparty.com and give it a whirl. It
usually takes a day or two for me to process it and reply. The wiki explains which files you need to connect after your application is approved.

If you're talking about the files and program that run DoorParty, it's a modified Synchronet, so I can only point you to the base install, synchro.net

I'm trying to install Door Party on my BBS. I'm using a Linux VPS server, so I don't have root access, but I do have shell access. Per the Doorparty instructions, I've installed node.js, but I think I hit a roadblock with installing NVM; it seems like it's not allowed by my hosting company.

..but I need NVM to install doorparty-connector, right? Or is there another way?

    Thanks.

so I don't have root access, but I do have shell access. Per the Doorparty instructions, I've installed node.js, but I think I hit a roadblock with installing NVM; it seems like it's not allowed by my hosting company.

The instructions should not be telling you to install node.js or nvm. Whatever you're reading is out of date.

    Get the latest doorparty-connector here:

    https://github.com/echicken/dpc2

Follow the setup instructions on that page.
