    Hi,
I have a question. Whenever I go to upload a file I click on the
browse button and the directory of my C drive comes up. I noticed that
alot of the files or folders are like: Dragon~1 Can WcNav and WC 5.x
handle long file/folder names? It seems weird to me that WC 5.x and
WCNav can't handle long file names in this day and age. I tried
accessing a few bbs sites including this one and they all have this
problem. Again, I'm not sure if its a limitation of WC 5.x, WCNav or
both. Anyone with a fix for this or work around please let me know.

    Thanks
    John

    wcNAV is a 16bit application = No LFN's.

Winserver v5.5.450.1 and above can handle LFN's in the file database
only, message database attachments are still 8.3 .

No not yet, I think Hector is going to rewrite wcNav in the future.

    You'd have to ask Hector.

I think he intends to do work on wcnav in the future, but there are more pressing issues and features he is working on now. He's done a lot to the
web and mail interfaces especially aver the past several months now, and
is also busy with wc6 from what I understand.
