    Hector,

I wish for a MarkMessageUnread() function. Sometimes users need to
re-download mail to POP3 client. This would be handy to mark messages
as Unread so they can be downloaded again.

    Mark.

For a pure un-marking, it that would be a major change in server design.

If the need is for POP3, the normal way this is address is to not MARK the messages in the first place.

In the POP3 server setup, you have the Mark Mail options you can disable.

And if you give users SNOOP options, if they are reading via ONLINE, then
they click the Binoculars to get a snooping preview.

Also, if you have seen recently the discussion on the MAIL PREVIEW stuff,
this will help in that area "slightly."

But for a pure overall "any reason" unmarking concept, that would be a
major consideration and server design change. I can add it to the wish
list but probaly won't make it in until the next revamping of the mail
    system. . :-)

    Thanks

    Hector,

Most user are good about Snooping there mail. But there is always
a few who accidentally read it, mark it read, or have deleted from
there Outlook and just want to re-download it. I currently
work around it by copying the message w/ mfNoDupeChecking and
mh.Received = FALSE, then deleting the old one. Not pretty, but
    it does the job.

    Thanks,
    Mark.
