    Hello Hector & all,

I would be nice if, in a future AUP, we could configure the maximum
E-mail message size allowed pair access profile to be received or sent
    by an user.

Most mail servers that I'm familiar with have this as a global option. Just out of curiousity, what would be the reasoning for having this available per security profile instead of a common global mail server option?

Well, he has a point. For a subscription based system, you can allow X
size for one type of subscription/security profile versus another.

It was always part of the futures list as part of the big change when we finally move the message databases to support long file names and possibly
an alternative storage system that would better support "size options" on a
per user basis. Right now, it would be a major server overhead to do the same thing.

Different access profiles could pay for a larger mailbox! :)

because I have an automated verification / validation system
(WS-Verify by Thomas Cloos)) and I don't want a bad joker to use my
system as a big file sending / receiving service via mail.

But for my own use, I eventually need to be able to send / receive big
    files via mail.
