I'm guessing everyone is set already as far as dyndns-handling is concerned?

If not, I was thinking of putting something similar up. For the time being, it only works with proper BIND (dynamic) updates with key pairs. I'm doing it under *.d.defsol.com at the moment, but we could obviously register anything for this purpose :-)

The four DNS servers handling this are located in Sweden, London, Frankfurt and
    Amsterdam.

Well, the offer is there in case anyone needs it. I will cross-post this to a few places.

    Time for some Zzzzs :-)

I've had a static-IP address for years now, but I know many D'Bridge users are using dynamic DNS. It would not be that hard for me to set up a VPS somewhere, lets say Linode, and offer a simple service that way.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by key-pairs, as any simple DNS-update client just needs to phone home to tell the server the IP address of the client, or maybe just a stupid self-serve portal website that updates the record.

Hmmm ... I thought dyndns was a ghost from the past after they created havoc in
the nodelist some years ago ...

Right. I was merely offering. You're obviously free to do the same, the more the merrier :)

Security comes in many shapes ... we prefer key pairs (private/public) for secure updates.

No, but they are mostly a pay site now. Quite reliable. I use them as a backup to synchro.net.
