2:203/0 Is not running d'Bridge! When incomming pkt files area tossed, new pkt files are created for the links! So if 2:203/0 sends you bad pkt files, that's where they are created, and not some random node down the line...

I also got a ton of old messages today, directly from Ward's system. So there is (or was) a problem there but, not with badly formated pkt files!

    Bye, Wilfred.

okay, you say no nodes forward bad pkt file creating ?

I also got a ton of old messages today, directly from Ward's system.

could this be triggered by some nodes that does not limit size of pkt files ?

with gives out of mem problems on downlinks ?

logs here says me it was the first node import it to downlinks, it could still be foos not being the real problem

2:203/0 create big pkt files, imho not limited so more small files when alot of
msgs are comming, possible this system can create files over 2GB barrier, with imho make it impossible to toss it on msdos partion

in husky i limit pkt size to 32 Kb

    and arcsize to 1024 Kb

biggest pkt size i have seen is 512 Mb

    insane tossers

Again... How is this a D'Bridge bug? How is any of this "my problem".

in husky i limit pkt size to 32 Kb

Hahaha! There is no logical reason a packet-size to 32 kilobytes.

There could be a case of "gigo". But that depends on the software used. Since I
also get feed by Wards system, and haven't noticed any bad pkt files, I don't think that's the cause of the "problem" you seem to notice.

I also got a ton of old messages today, directly from Ward's system.

That's not the cause of the problem on Ward's system.

    That's the downlinks problem! ;)

    Then show them...

    Bye, Wilfred.
