one that does not require them.
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
Title: Bryan Banana Bread
Categories: D/g, Dessert, Boat
Yield: 6 servings
1 c Bananas (2 med)
2 Eggs (maybe an additional
-egg white)
3/4 c Flour, bread
1 c Flour, all purpose
1 1/4 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/3 c Shortening
2/3 c Sugar
1 tb Milk
Mix dry ingredients EXCEPT SUGAR together, set aside
Blend eggs, shortening, sugar milk together.
Add dry ingredients to egg mixture, add bananas, mix until smooth
Place into bread pan (4 x 6 or 5 x 8) bake at 350 60 to 70
mins. depending on pan. Test with toothpick.
Xmas Experiment: Added 2/3 c dried cranberries; approx 1/4 cup
applesauce; 1/4 ts cinnamon 1/8 ts nutmeg. Turned out great.
