    Sitting slap dab in the middle of "SESTAR" one of the major mail hubs
    for Fido Zone 1. Mr Lewis has been an important cog in the FIDO machine
    for some years. Don't fuss yourself about his physical location,

    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: E. Waldo Ward's Crumb Cake
    Categories: Cakes, Desserts, Fruits
    Yield: 9 Servings

    3/4 c + 2 tb butter
    9 oz Jar E. Waldo Ward's Apricot
    - Preserves
    1 c Sugar
    1 lg Egg
    3 1/3 c A-P flour
    1 ts Baking powder

    Blend flour and baking powder in small bowl and set
    aside.

    Beat butter and sugar with blender on low to medium
    speed until creamy. tir in egg. dd flour mixture and
    blend by hand. Batter should be crumbly.

    Pour half of batter in bottom of lightly greased 9" cake
    pan and pat down. Spread Apricot Preserves over the
    layer of batter. Pour remaining batter on top of
    preserves. Do not pat down.

    Bake at 425ºF/218ºC until lightly browned, approximately
    20 minutes.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar to decorate.

    SUGGESTION: Try with any of our jams.
